2015 Composite Acoustics Cargo Composite (SOLD)

The Composite Acoustics company has been working with a variety of proprietary composite materials, and the Cargo Composite is one of their many successful designs.

 

Designed as a travel guitar, the Cargo Composite is a single cutaway, short-scale - 22.75 inch - acoustic with a comfortably contoured back. It's built using proprietary composites throughout. It is very well made, and comfortable to play; the short scale reduces the reach so it's easier to sit back with.

 

And, this guitar sounds surprisingly good. The offset soundhole on the upper bass bout makes it easier for the player to hear what's coming out of the guitar, which is a rich, warm tone. I think this guitar would record quite well.
