With a tone designed to be more mellow and jazzier than the Strat the Jazzmaster wasn’t really embraced by jazz players. It is more commonly associated with surf rock bands like The Ventures and The Fireballs and later experimental rock bands such as Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine. This particular example has been stripped of its finish and has newer tuners but is in great overall shape and has a really cool vibe. Comes with original brown hardshell case.

These instruments feature all the quality and good looks you come to expect from Martin with a few new twists aimed at the gigging musician. The Performing Artist neck profile has a little less mass and a flatter shape than Martins standard low profile neck. This super smooth feel will appeal to fans of smaller neck profiles and help ease hand fatigue for those long sets. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret and the venetian style cutaway provides excellent access to the upper frets. The on board Fishman F1 Aura pickup system has everything a performer could want including a built in tuner all in a two button and small screen package which helps retain the sleek aesthetic appeal of these guitars. Here is a cool single cut thinline hollow body from the late 60’s. It has seen a lot of wear and tear but plays really well, the frets have very little wear and it is a nice light weight! Comes with original Guild hardshell case.
