Today we are featuring the exquisitely comfortable and tonally impeccable OMSC model from the workshop of master luthier Dana Bourgeois. Based upon the classic 12 fret 000 body size this instrument retains the important elements of that classic design while adding an appealing venetian cutaway, tons and tons of tone and all of the quality craftsmanship we have come to know and love from Bourgeois guitars!

This incredible little guitar from the workshop of Dana Bourgeois is another impressive addition to the popular Country Boy series. The 00 Country Boy has everything you could want in a high quality small body guitar: comfort, classic good looks, flawless finish and a warm and sweet articulate tone that you don’t usually see from a guitar of this size. The premium Sitka spruce top and South American Mahogany sides and back combine for lively and direct sound with a midrange emphasis which adds bloom and girth to the overall tone.

There are many guitars that employ a smaller curvy body size, like a Jumbo that was put in the drier for too long. The idea is to get a more comfortable and manageable body size but still retain a lot of the power and tonal depth that you get from a larger instrument. However, few guitar actually achieve this feat. The Bourgeois Small Jumbo takes this idea and hits one right out of the park!
