The National Tricone is patterned after the original instrument made in 1927 with its functional Art Deco industrial design. It is made of brass, highly polished and plated with either bright nickel plating or a custom Antique Brass treatment! The round, mahogany neck has an ivoroid bound ebony fingerboard. The headstock has the National logo inlayed in mother-of-pearl and vintage-style tuners!
MORE →This total custom order Baritone 1.5 Tricone not only looks great but sounds huge. The baritone scale neck allows for much lower tunings and massive bass response. The treble side cone has been replaced with a Beard spun cone to provide a bit of extra treble presence and the Vine of Life inlay package looks absolutely stunning. This piece is in excellent overall shape with only a bit of minor fret wear!

This steel bodied tricone has a beautiful satin-nickle plating with a smooth feel and great aged look. This example is in great overall condition. It has recently had its frets dressed and leveled and it is set up for some serious slide playing!
