Wow the 52 Goldtop, here is a guitar with some serious history and mojo! This example has had a headstock splice restoration and neck refinish, which was done here in our workshop. The rest of the finish, hardware, and electronics are all original. The gold finish is in great overall condition for its age with some great looking lacquer checking and the guitar plays really well!! Les Paul fans don’t miss out on this one!
MORE →The Gibson L-4 small body archtop guitar was built between 1912-1956 and features a 16″ wide body with spruce top and flame maple sides and back. The mahogany neck has a V neck profile, a bound rosewood fingerboard and joins the body at the 14 fret. The sunburst finish has seen a lot of wear and tear but guitar is set up really well and plays great!
MORE →Built between 1963 and 1971 this small bodied Gibson features a very classical like body shape. It is 14 1/2″ wide and has a spruce top and mahogany sides and back. The mahogany neck joins the body at the 12 fret and has a 24 3/4″ scale length with a 2″ nut width. This example has white tap plates on either side of the sound hole, medium wear on the finish and comes with a newer hardshell case.
