The Eastman El Rey is a very interesting, original instrument. Smaller than most traditional jazz boxes, it’s very comfortable to play. The mahogany body and spruce top give it a warm, rich tone with plenty of articulation so no note goes unheard.

As an excellent rockabilly guitar, the ES-295 was famously played by Scotty Moore in Elvis Presley’s band fronm 1952 to 1955. Overall, this is a great guitar with a great sound, and a place in musical history.
