This mid 60’s Gibson 12 string is a comfortable 14 /14″ wide body with a spruce top and mahogany sides and back. The mahogany neck has a rosewood fretboard and is 14 frets clear of the body with a 24 3/4″ scale length. These guitars were made between 1962-1977 and this example also features an adjustable saddle and beautiful sunburst finish. This guitar has seen a decent amount of wear and tear and there is a fair bit of lacquer checking but it is decent overall condition and comes with a newer hardshell case.

I am a self admitted rosewood fan but R. Taylor has once again proved to me that a maple guitar can be bright and sparkle without lacking a solid bass response and strong note fundamental. Great looks and a very appealing tone, this guitar has it all!
