The Stratocaster has been an extremely popular guitar since its introduction in 1954, and has since never gone out of production. MORE →Here’s a very nice 2007 PRS SC 245 Gold Top Singlecut Solidbody. The single-cutaway solidbody design has certainly proven itself over the last sixty years. Paul Reed Smith’s take on the idea features mahogany back and maple cap, set neck construction, but has a slightly elongated body that’s really quite attractive.

The EVH Wolfgang ‘Standard’ was built from 1996 to 2002 in Leakesville, Mississippi (and then to late 2004 in Meridian, Mississippi), though in fact, Peavey did not use the term ‘Standard’ with reference to these models.
