Between 1968 and 1972, Marshall built a number of ‘combo’ style amplifiers, where the amp and speakers are in one cabinet. This 1972 Marshall Model 1958 2×10 Combo features four inputs on two channels; channel 2 has a vibrato circuit.

MORE →I guess you would just have to play Prince’s Purple Rain on this cool stack! This limited edition 1959 purple Marshall head from the 90’s has seen some wear and tear but has that great crunchy tone. The leather on the handle is worn away at the bottom, the back panel is missing some screws and it now has a Kendrick made turret board. The accompanying 412 cabinet also features a purple tolex and the original 1968 Celestion speakers. The grille cloth and name plate has been changed and one of the speakers is missing its plastic cap. Pairing these two purple power houses together provides a tone to die for!!
MORE →Here is a handwired combo, made in England which features G12H30 aged Celestion speakers, 18 watts of class A/B power and has been modded with power and output transformers from Mercury Magnetics. This amp is a reproduction of the classic mid 60’s combos and has a two channel design very much like a Plexi. Comes with footswitch and manual.
