Here’s a lovely Gibson A-4 Mandolin from 1914. This instrument is in good working order with some wear as expected on an instrument almost a century old! Tonally, it has a nice bite and lots of volume, and is lots of fun to play.

Here is an F-5 that has all of the features to suggest a 1949 model and only the label indicates 1951. Regardless if it is 49 or a 51 this sure is one special mandolin.
