Here’s a nicely refinished 1968 Fender Precision Bass. There have been lots of good reasons to refinish an old instrument, and this one was done professionally without significantly altering the edges or contours. The DiMarzio pickup was likely installed in the late 70’s or early 80’s for a punchier tone. This bass plays well, sounds and looks great.
