I have to say that I’m a fan of the Gretsch 6120 design. It has a comfortable, pleasing shape with elegant proportions. And most importantly, they sound great no matter what you do with them.

This post-lawsuit Les Paul style guitar (Gibson’s suit was over Ibanez’s use of the ‘open-book’ headstock shape, and so Ibanez moved to another shape, based on the Guild headstock) is made in Japan and is a great way to get a Les Paul style guitar for a great price! MORE →The Gretsch 6125 Anniversary model is structurally very similar to the 6120. This particular example has a few oddities: the body has trestle bracing, and the label clearly states that it’s a 6121 – but the 6121 is a quite different guitar! While not fully original, this is a very functional piece that’s ready to gig or record.
MORE →Originally released in 2007 in limited numbers these small body guitars feature cool vintage cowboy graphics, a 24″ scale reinforced neck, real wood construction and collectible graphic boxes. All four of these limited guitars are being offered for $500. These guitars are being sold as used but they have never been out of their boxes, they are in mint condition and would make for a wonderful collection!
