Here is a cool single cut thinline hollow body from the late 60’s. It has seen a lot of wear and tear but plays really well, the frets have very little wear and it is a nice light weight! Comes with original Guild hardshell case.

This is a pretty rare guitar, and well-made as Guilds normally are. Entirely original, except for the strings. This X 79 is American production from the early 1980’s, when Guild was experimenting with different body shapes and styles.

Guild has always made one of the best 12-strings, with tons of power and dynamics, delivered wrapped in tone. The ebony board on the F 412 model adds a bit of snap and articulation. Extremely well built and sturdy, these are very reliable guitars for home, performance or studio.

Guild made many great working guitars, and this is an example. Spruce tops are unusual on archtops outside of the high-end range, and have a presence, snap and fullness not available with laminates.

This is a great older piece. It’s in good shape and has a number of interesting features that show up in much later items. The pearl/abalone V block markers and extra binding inlay on the fingerboard appear on later and higher-end Guild guitars, such as the 1970’s Starfire VI. And the pusbhutton selector appears on many items, from Italian instruments to the 1950’s Dodge Torqueflite transmission. This is a big guitar from a time when volume was really needed, and the Emperor was the top of the heap. As a Zephyr, it’s an electric model, and the Vari-tone refers to the pushbutton selector.
