This 1953 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top has been converted, as many were, to a what is now standard – a bridge and stop tailpiece configuration. Aside from that, it’s been refretted for playability, and the output jack plate has been replaced, but is otherwise in original condition. The original trapeze tailpiece is included in the original 4-latch case.
MORE →I had a lot of fun with this Gibson Guitars SGJ 2014 120th Anniversary model. Took it off the wall, plugged it straight into one of my current favourite amps – a Vox AC15 – and it sounded great.
