A very clean custom shop instrument! Plays well and sounds great. The M body is much more tonally balanced – and physically smaller – than a dreadnought.

Serial Number 433038, 1981 production Pricing $1999 with case. SOLD Neck Mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard, pearl dot markers. Stiffening rod, not adjustable. Frets 14 narrow frets to the body, 20 in total. Some wear in the low positions. Body Indian rosewood body with spruce top, bound top and back; bound around the neck joint and tailblock. MORE →This D28 was built during Martins 175th anniversary year and has a very nice set of Indian rosewood on the sides and back with very distinct eye catching grain lines. It is set up for blue grass style playing with lots of saddle protruding and comes with the original molded Martin hardshell case.
