Here’s a nice Fender Telecaster from 1978. . Very light and comfortable, unlike many guitars from the 70’s when weight was widely considered a desirable trait leading to sustain and clarity. Lighter uitars like this one, though, still exhibit lots of those tonal characteristics.

From 2011, here’s a Fender Vintage Reissue 1962 Stratocaster in amazingly clean condition; even the case candy looks untouched. The guitar plays perfectly, too!
MORE →The Fender Bandmaster was produced, in various forms, from 1953 to 1974. Output ranged from around 25 watts at first, to 40 watts. Originally a combo, the piggyback head-and cabinet design appeared in 196i, and this configuration is used for most professional grade, higher powered amps to this day.
