It is a joy to open a case and find an instrument like this 2012 Andreas Kirmse Classical Guitar. Hand built with a double cedar top, rosewood back and sides with sound port on the upper bass bout, mahogany neck and raised ebony fingerboard, this fine instrument illustrates the high level of current classical guitar construction.

This 1965 Manuel G Contreras Classical Guitar is in good playing condition. Constructed with Spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, it has a light French Polish finish.
MORE →This is a beautiful 2010 Sergei de Jonge classical guitar with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and an elevated fingerboard. Sergei de Jonge builds from his shop in Chelsea, Quebec, and has for many years been prominent in the Canadian lutherie scene; he also runs courses out of his shop, including instruction on French Polish finishes.

This 1983 Marc Beneteau Classical Cutaway demonstrates Marc’s skill and the quality of his workmanship. The tone is rich and full, with warm highs and deep lows.

We seldom see things like this 1969 Robert Ruck classical guitar; this is partly because Robert Ruck doesn’t build much anymore, and his guitars are so well regarded that they seldom change hands.
