Madagascar rosewood is as close as you can get in tone and visual appearance to the famed Brazilian rosewood, but without as hefty a price tag. This is why many builders are opting to use Madagascar as a high end tone wood choice. In addition to the beautiful set of Madagascar rosewood, this guitar features a light blonde and tight grained premium Engelmann spruce top, Adirondack braces, ebony binding on the body, neck and peghead, 1 11/16″ nut width and the ever so smooth Gold Gotoh 510 tuners.

It’s that time of year again! Taylor Guitars has released their 2010 Fall Limited guitars, and they are a seriously beautiful bunch. The star of this fall’s show is Taylor’s new fingerboard inlays. Fine lines are laser etched on to the inlay pieced, creating some fantastic looking detail patterns. I had the opportunity to see these inlay pieces as they were under development during my visit to the Taylor factory this summer. I’ll post another link to the article covering the factory tour at the bottom of this page. For now, let’s take a closer look at each of the new Fall Limiteds!
MORE →Here is a very cool early 70’s strat in Lake Placid Blue! The guitar has seen some wear and tear and has a bit of neck and body damage due to dampness but it plays really well and has a wonderful vibe.
MORE →This 1973 Telecaster features a maple neck with a nice bit of flame figuring
and distinct grain line on the ash body stand out with the translucent blond finish. This
example is all original and very very clean!
This early 80’s strat is sporting a rare and unique bowling ball style marble finish and is in excellent overall condition with only very minor cosmetic play wear scratches and minor fret wear.

The alder body is in great overall shape with only a few dents and chips in the finish. Lace
Sensor single coil pickups and a newer bridge have been added and the lower tone pot has
been disconnected. The frets on the maple neck with rosewood fretboard are low but the
guitar is set up well and plays great. Comes with a generic rectangular plastic hardshell case.
