Today we are featuring the Taylor 528e First Edition. This large body guitar features a mahogany top, back and sides and a special First Edition peghead and fretboard inlay. This initial run was limited to 100 pieces and this particular guitar is number 87 of 100!

When Taylor guitars redesigned their jumbo body guitar now call the Grand Orchestra they created a more powerful complex voicing that is really well balanced for a large guitar. This body shape features a new bracing pattern which facilitates better responsiveness for a dynamic attack. This allows for players using a finger style technique or light strumming to get loads of tone and balance from large guitar! The mahogany tone woods impart a full woody midrange and solid note fundamental combined with great volume and bass response for a thick muscular tone!
