Frets | Narrow, vintage style frets with some wear in the lower positions. 12 frets to the body. |
Body | Parlor type body design, with Brazilian rosewood back and sides, spruce top, ebony bridge, mother of pearl and abalone binding. Some play wear on the top. Long ago, a crack on the treble side was repaired. The Larson brothers used a unique pyramid-scalloped bracing pattern and built the backs under tension. |
Finish | Nitrocellulose lacquer finish in good condition. |
Hardware/electronics | Strip tuning gears with replacement pearlescent buttons. |
Playability/Action | The action is somewhat high, the bridge has been shaved and the saddle is low. However it is in good playable condition. |
