| Comments | This is a very interesting example of a Martin D-18 from 1936. It’s an infrequent event for 1930’s D series Martins to come up for sale, so it’s always a pleasure to get one in.It’s also a distinct pleasure to play and hear this guitar. While it has the typically dreadnaought bass emphasis, it’s got everything else too – including volume – and delivers it cleanly, clearly and without hesitation. It’s a very nice piece of tonal artillery. |
