Neck	Maple neck with gold-sparkle bound ebony fingerboard, vertical Gretsch logo and wings on the headplate. Hump-block inlays.
Frets	Medium frets with negligible wear.
Body	17″ maple laminate body with tone bar and soundpost bracing. And of course, gold sparkle binding everywhere!
Finish	White gloss finish, nicely fading to cream, in very good condition.
Hardware/electronics	Gold hardware throughout. Twin Filter’Trons, gold roller bridge on ebony base, ‘Caddillac’ G tailpiece, pickup selector, master volume and individual volumes, tone control. Gold G-branded tuners. Switch tip is missing.
Playability/Action	Plays cleanly at a standard action height. The Falcon is a 25.5″ scale, so the tension is a little higher than a 6120.

Comments	Here’s a very clean pre-FMIC Gretsch White Falcon – and like all Falcons, it’s got all the subtlety of a supermodel (but perhaps requires less maintenance). It’s got a great sound, really rings, plays easily and cleanly and really rings. And it really stands out!
