Neck	Maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard, neo-classic position markers. These models have a gentle 50’s style V shape, which I find extremely comfortable.
Frets	22 medium frets; the frets go over the binding to the edge of the fingerboard.
Body	Maple laminate body with tone bar / soundpost construction. Bound F-holes.
Finish	Deep blue gloss sunburst – this is a very strikingly attractive guitar!
Hardware/electronics	All hardware is gold plated, though the photos don’t fully bring out the gold. Gretsch Filter ‘Trons, pickup selector, mud (‘tone’) switch, master volume, individual volume controls; gold Bisgby B6 and gold Grover Rotomatics. Gold Gretsch strap pins. Gold adjusto-matic bridge on rosewood base.
Playability/Action	Right out of the box, this guitar plays really well. There’s plenty of room to adjust it to the requirements of any playing style.
Case	Original Gretsch hardshell case included.
Comments	I have to say that I’m a fan of the Gretsch 6120 design. It has a comfortable, pleasing shape with elegant proportions. And most importantly, they sound great no matter what you do with them. The blue burst and gold hardware really set this piece off and are very eye-catching.
