Neck Three-piece Maple neck with volute and bound Rosewood fingerboard. Faux pearl trepezoidal markers, large headstock, Mother of Pearl Gibson logo inlaid on headplate. Slim neck profile, standard 24.75″ scale length.
Frets Original frets with minor wear.
Body Bound, Three-piece Maple cap on mahogany.
Finish Original Cherry Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish, with good honest play wear. A few small chips on the top and wear on the back.
Hardware/electronics Gibson 498 / 492 pickups; original tuners, bridge and tailpiece; standard Les Paul wiring with selector switch, individual volume and tone controls, and gold ‘speed’ knobs.
Playability/Action Plays well and cleanly at a standard action height.
