Neck | Mahogany neck with unbound rosewood fingerboard, mother of pearl dot position markers. Ebony headplate and trussrod cover; mother of pearl Collings logo on headplate. 24 7/8″ scale length, 1 11/16″ nut width. 12″ fingerboard radius and 15 degree headstock angle. Medium-fat C neck profile. |
Frets | Medium jumbo frets with minimal wear. |
Body | Single-cutaway, comfort contoured Mahogany slab body with carved flame maple top. |
Finish | Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer sunburst finish in very good condition. |
Hardware/electronics | All original parts – nickel plated Sperzel gears with ivoroid buttons, tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, Lollar humbuckers, pickup selector, individual volume and tone controls. |
Playability/Action | Plays extremely well, typical of Collings. We can of course set it up to the player’s requirements. |
