Comments | Eastman’s El Rey – “The King” – guitar is designed to deliver “classic jazz archtop tone in a lightweight, resonant 14 inch body”. Along the way, this design also has excellent feedback resistance at volume. Designed by Otto D’Ambrosio , the El Rey One features a carved spruce top, carved mahogany back, mahogany sides and a mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard. The design includes a patented neck joint, the “Neck Block Cutaway”, to provide strength and access without reducing tone. This Cherry Red 2010 Eastman El Rey One is in great shape with only a few small marks on the body and little to no fret wear. |
