Benko A-style mandolin (SOLD)
A style, 13 ¾ scale, 1 ¼ nut width, Maple back, sides and neck. Sitka Spruce top, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, bridge foot and peghead overlay. Bone nut, Ivory saddle, Kluson deluxe tuners and finished in Nitrocellulose lacquer.

Benko Classical Guitar
19th Century style small body classical guitar
13 3/8 lower bout, 10 ¾ upper bout. Extra deep sides; 4 ¾ deep at the upper bout
648 mm scale, 50 mm nut, action at 7/64 treble to 8/64 bass (well within the normal classical range with some room to move up or down at the saddle).
Sitka spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, Ebony rosette, bridge and fretboard, Honduras mahogany neck fitted with Schaller deluxe classical tuners.
Nitrocellulose finish, very minor age-checking in the finish typical of nitro lacquer.
Near mint condition with no history of repairs or damage of any kind.
Tone: unusually full bass response as one would expect from an extra deep body. Not loud, but a thoroughly pleasant guitar to play with a warm and earthy tone.
