Comments | Joe Egan was born in Fort Frances Ontario, and has been building custom instruments off Vancouver Island for some time. His instruments are oriented towards the requirements and desires of the player, rather than adhering to a specific traditional design.
Visit the Egan Custom Guitar website Here This 2012 Egan Custom Tenor Guitar takes some construction and styling cues from Selmer-Macafferri guitars, famously used by ‘Gypsy Jazz’ players like Django Reinhart and Birelli Lagrene. However, this instrument is built as a 24.25 inch scale tenor guitar, and inherits some of the projection and brightness of the design. It’s in great playing condition. |
