Comments | For The Twelfth Fret’s 35th anniversary in 2011,we commissioned a number of instruments including this Martin OM-28 Custom. The Martin OM-28 is based on the 000, or triple-0 body. Originally the 000 was a 12-fret neck, but the 14-fret neck was introduced to help banjo players migrate to guitar and it’s become the dominant design. The OM, or Orchestra Model, is known for its full yet even and toally balanced sound, making it ideal for fingerstyle players and recording.Featuring a spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides, with herringbone binding on the top and ‘zipper’ back strip, this guitar is in very good condition. |
