Today we’re looking at a 2010 PRS JA-15 McCarty Burst archtop. Built in collaboration with jazz guitarist Paul Jackson, Jr., the JA-15 features a carved spruce top with tone bar and soundpost bracing, carved flame maple back and neck, and mahogany sides. This particular instrument also features Brazilian Rosewood for the fingerboard and headplate. Gold and mother of pearl are used for the position markers. This fine instrument is in very good condition with no appreciable wear. |
