| Comments | Here’s a lovely, near mint 2010 FireGlo Rickenbacker 4003 Bass. The 4003 Bass is the successor to the 4001, which it finally fully replaced in 1986.
Visually, the differences between the 4001 and 4003 are subtle. However, the 4003 sports a different truss rod system with adjusters at either end of the neck, and updated wiring. This 2010 4003 example shows off the FireGlo finish – basically a cherry sunburst, which works really well on the ‘Crested Wave’ body style. It’s in very good condition with just a very few very small chips in the finish at the top of the head. |
