New Old Stock! We’ve just located this 2009 Left Handed Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst in the first circle of our basement storage area.
Left handed Les Pauls are not always easy to find, and lately it’s even harder to even order one. At the time of writing, this 2009 Left Handed Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst is one of the only left-handed Gibson Les Pauls available as new in Canada. Since it’s new old stock, the original warranty applies to the purchaser.
This example of the Left Handed Gibson Les Paul Standard was shipped with a heritage cherry sunburst and a bookmatched flame maple top. Set up using Gibson’s PLEK machines, the guitar plays very well out of the box. It’s equipped TonePros locking tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, locking Neutrik output jack, Burstbucker Pro pickups, and with locking Grover tuners. The hardwware is chrome plated.
Locking tuners are an unexpectedly useful feature on a guitar like this. Originally promoted as an aid to tuning stability on guitars with vibrato (also known as trems), it turns out that they make restringing non-trem guitar much easier and faster. In a performance situation where seconds count, they are a huge benefit.
Serial Number: 005091514, dating to February 19, 2009 and built at the Gibson plant in Nashville, Tennessee.
Pricing: $2,599.00 with original hardshell case. SOLD
