Comments | The first of the run, a 2007 Martin 00-42K2 Robbie Robertson in pristine condition. This is number one of one hundred built, and it’s a spectacular instrument, visually and tonally.
Using highly figured Koa for the top, back and sides, with mahogany for the neck and ebony for the fingerboard, the Martin 00-42K2 Robbie Robertson features 42-style appointments – abalone and pearl inlay around the top and soundhole, snowflake inlays, torch headstock inlay on a Madagascar Rosewood headplate, and engraved Waverly strip tuners on a slotted peghead.
