Comments | Here’s something unusual – a Fender Floral Telecaster Japanese Reissue, built between 1999 and 2002. From 1982 to 1997, Fender Japan contracted with Fiju-Gen to produce a line of Fender instruments. After 1997, production shifted to Dyna and Tokai.
These instruments were sold within Japan and some, like this one, were shipped to North America. They are extremely good instruments with very high build quality; they easily stand up to comparison with a lot of US production. This particular example of the 1999-2002 Fender Floral Telecaster Japanese Reissue is in near-mint condition with a tweed hardshell case made by Gator. |
Serial Number | P075859, dates to late between 1999 and 2003; built by Dyna or Tokai for Fender Japan. Unfortunately the serial numbering scheme for this period is not more specific. |
