Today we have a great looking and great playing 1997 PRS Custom 22 with a cherry finish on the top.
The PRS Custom 22 was introduced in 1993, based on the 22-fret Dragon 1 model. The body shape combines the sleek elongated lines of the Stratocaster body with the carved top and aesthetics of the Les Paul shape. The result is highly successful, visually and functionally.
This 1997 PRS Custom 22 example is in great playing condition – but it has been played. It’s in overall good condition but it has some wear marks on the back and pick marks on the treble cutaway. The original locking tuners (included in the case) have been replaced with Schaller non-locking tuners, and the rotary pickup selector has been changed to a standard toggle.
