Comments | Lowden guitars have been favoured by both fingerstyle and plectrum players since they became available. The O, or Original model, is a fairly large jumbo design, which produces a suprisingly even, rich sound with lots of articulation and projection.
This 1997 Lowden O25C steel string was built in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. It’s in physically great condition, but with that, it also sounds really good. The cedar top adds warmth and articulation to the tone and the body design is not boomy. Played fingerstyle or strummed with a pick, this instrument would sound great on its own, in a room with other instruments, or on a recording track. |
