1988 Martin D-18P Dreadnought (consignment) SOLD

Comments The Martin D-18 has been around for a long time. Officially introduced in 1931, the design was originally produced for the Ditson brand in 1916. It’s been produced in various trim levels, with the D-18 (spruce top, mahogany back and sides), the D-28 (Spruce top, rosewood back and sides) and the D-45 (spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and lots of shell decoration) being the most popular. This 1988 Martin D-18P is a subtle variation of the basic D-18 design, with a lower-profile ‘Performer’ series neck shape. This example is in quite good condition, and has that clean, tight D-18 tone.
