Comments | Here’s a rare piece – a 1970 Gibson Melody Maker 12-String! Melody Makers were Gibson’s entry level instruments and lots were made, but the 12-string was not at all common. This example is in good playing condition and has no structural problems. Very cool! |

Hardware/electronics | All original! Kluson delxue strip tuners with creme plastic buttons, single-coil pickups, sliding selector switch, individual volume and tone controls. Adapted, intonated stop-bar wraparound bridge with the 12-string tailpiece also used on Gibson 6/12 doublenecks. |
Playability/Action | Currently set too low for the upper register – 2/64ths treble and 4/64ths bass – in the chording parts of the neck, the guitar plays cleanly and easily. |
