| Finish | Original gloss nitrocellulose lacquer sunburst finish, with tint and I’d have to say this instrument has spent quality time in some smoky rooms. The finish is in good shape overall with a significant yellowing on the binding. It’s certain that this guitar has seen many performances – there are two lines on the bass side where the song list was taped. |
| Hardware/electronics | Grover Roto-Matic tuners with metal ‘tulip’ buttons, bone nut and saddle. The truss rod cover has been replaced with a three-screw model. |
