Comments	This is 1965 Airline Professional Model, 3-pickup electric with stock Bigsby tailpiece. Airlines were found mostly in Montgomery-Ward catalogues in the 1960’s. While it now seems odd that electric guitars could be harder to come by, this was the case during the early 1960’s. Department store mail-order catalogues were a major player in the mass distribution of lower-cost instruments, and that’s how most of these instruments found their homes. Airlines were made by Valco, who also produced National and Supro instruments. This example is in great condition, with only a few changes that improve playability – specifically the updated and adjustable bridge.

Neck	Poplar neck with bound rosewood fingerboard. White plastic headplate with black plastic Airline logo mounted.
Frets	Original frets with minor wear.
Body	Soft wood core with creme plastic covering, black edging strip sealing the two halves.
Finish	Original faded white finish on the body, black nitrocellulose lacquer with minor wear on the neck.
Hardware/electronics	Original hardware except for bridge top, which has been replaced with a Gibson-style Tune-o-matic. Three single coil pickups, individual volume and tone controls, tone switch, master volume, Bigsby B5 vibrato, Kluson Deluxe tuners with plastic buttons.
Playability/Action	Plays quite well!
Case	Proel hardshell case included; fits very well.
