Comments | Here is a 1963 Fender Precision Bass in excellent playing condition.
The P-Bass was introduced in the 1951’s and stepped right up to become the most recorded instrument in history. The tone, versatilty, reliability and durability have made it the go-to bass no matter the style of music – hard rock, soft rock, country and western, bouzouki groups, rockabilly, you name it and the Precision Bass has been on the records. This example is in great playing condition and was very recently set up in our shop. The original electronics and pickguard have been replaced, and a DiMarzio pickup has been in place for quite some time. Replacements like this were very common in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, when DiMarzio pickups first became available and the aftermarket guitar part market really formed. This bass is lively and resonant, sounds and plays great and is ready to go! |
