| Comments | Here’s a very nice 1962 Gibson ES-335. The ES-335 was introduced in 1958 with dot markers (hence the early, prized ‘dot neck’ versions) and the new PAF — Patent Applied For — pickups, and was an instant hit. By 1962, changes had begun with the shift to faux mother of pearl block markers. This was the version that Eric Clapton used at the beginning of Cream.
This example is in great playing condition, with wear indicating that it’s been used as intended. |
