2016 Gibson ES-355 VOS 1964 Reissue (SOLD)

Top of the thinline series, the Gibson ES-355 is not very commonly seen. But, here is a new VOS reissue of the 1964 Gibson ES-355 with Bigsby in a heritage cherry finish and aged gold hardware.  

This is an outstanding instrument. Following closely to the 1964 specs and using aged finishes but not 'reliced' or distressed, this Gibson ES-355 looks like it's just out of an original case but plays like new.  

Built on the same platform as the workhorse ES-335, the VOS Gibson ES-355 features a bound Richlite fingerboard with block mother of pearl position markers, bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond design, aged gold Grover Roto-Matics, aged gold Bigsby B-7, ABR bridge, and '57 Classic pickups. It does not have the Varitone control.  

The original Gibson hardshell case is included.
