S/N: 1819931, built during 2015 in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
One of the oldest, successful production guitar designs, the C. F. Martin 000-18 has been built almost continuously since 1911 after an initial appearance in 1906. In 1923, it started being built as a steel string model.
The Martin 000-18 has solid mahogany back and sides, Sitka spruce top, polished gloss finish and a hand-fit dovetail neck joint. This combination produces a slightly brighter tone than its dressier East Indian rosewood counterpart, the 000-28. It's the perfect guitar for the intermediate and advanced player.
This example of the 2015 Martin 000-18 production is in excellent condition with the original hardshell case and has a K&K pickup installed. Though it's not really played in, it has a full, rich tone with huge potential and it is hard to put down.
