SOLD!!! 2013 Sergei de Jonge Classical Guitar

From 2013, here is a lovely Sergei de Jonge classical guitar, built at his workshop in Chelsea, Quebec and featuring a raised fingerboard and French Polish finish. The top is Cedar and the sides, back and bridge Indian Rosewood, with mahogany for the neck and ebony for the fingerboard. The rosette is spalted maple.

This guitar is in very good condition. The elevated fingerboard significantly improves physical access to the upper frets without requiring a cutaway. As well, the extra mass under the fingerboard can increase tonal clarity, separation and sustain. The French Polish finish provides some protection to the wood with the least amount of inhibition of vibration. A black Hiscox hardshell case is included.
