SOLD!!! 2012 Rickenbacker 4003 Bass, Ruby Red

The Rickenbacker 4003 bass is one of the most recognizable electric basses. It has a distinct shape and punchy tone, and has been the backbone of many bands, from the Beatles and Wings to Motorhead and Yes.

This Rickenbacker 4003 bass in a now-discontinued Ruby Red finish was built during 2012, at the Rickenbacker plant in Santa Ana, California. It is in excellent condition with one modification from original - a bezel has been added to protect the bridge pickup, and the original parts are in the case. It is strung with Thomastic Infeld flatwound strings. The setup is good and it's a very nice bass to play. The original hardshell case is included.
