The Deering Golden Era 5-string design is based on classic banjos from the 1930's and is ideal for bluegrass.
Featuring a Deering -06- 20-hole bell bronze tone ring, the Deering Golden Era is built with flame maple and has a gloss finish.
This example is from 2012 and is in excellent condition with sunburst finish.
The serial number indicates built in December of 2012 and we would have taken delivery of it roughly in April of 2013.
It is owned by an open-back banjo player who bought this top-or-the-line Bluegrass banjo as an experiment but it has sat in storage for the past 2 years. It is virtually un-played and mint, as-new condition; fully set up by Grant MacNeill and is ready to go!
