2012 Collings MTO Mandolin (SOLD)

The Collings MTO mandolin is based on the classic Orville Gibson designed A-style mandolin. The Collings MTO features a pear-shaped body with a carved maple back, maple sides and neck, and a carved spruce top with an oval soundhole. The fingerboard and adjustable bridge are ebony.

Normally, the Collings MTO carries a satin finish, but as an option, the original owner of this instrument chose a gloss top. The finish, as with the rest of the instrument, is in excellent, near mint condition with a vanishingly small amount of wear. The original case is included.
