The Swart SRT Tweed is a Class A tube combo amp, using 6V6 or 6L6 tube, featuring 5 watts into a single 12 inch MojoTone speaker, delivering a fuller sound than is sometimes found on low-powered tube amps with 8 inch or 10 inch speakers. These amps are hand wired using cloth covered wire and point to point techniques, star grounding, and high quality, hand selected resitors and capacitors. The cabinet is finger-jointed, solid Pine with Lacquer Tweed Covering. A slip cover is included.
The Swart SRT Tweed is particularly outstanding in the recording studio delivering everything from clean to serious buttery breakup at manageable volume levels. The Class A design imparts a special magic to single coil guitars.
This example dates to 2011, hand built at the Swart shop in Wilmington, North Carolina. It is in excellent condition and perfect working order.
