This deluxe model features a chambered mahogany core with carved, bookmatched AAAA-grade figured maple top and back. The mahogany neck has a 50's rounded profile, with an ebony fingerboard and mother of pearl split-block position markers. The headstock has an Ornate Earth inlay made from abalone and brass, with the Supreme logo engraved on a mother of pearl banner.
All the hardware is gold plated, and include Gibson 490R and 498T Pickups and gold Grover keystone tuners.
This 2011 Gibson Les Paul Supreme carries the Desert Burst finish and is in excellent original condition. This nitrocellulose lacquer finish is fairly thin to reduce damping, and it shows a natural amount of sinking into the wood grain. There are no dings or dents or scratches, and no real fretwear. The original hardshell case is included.
Unlike many chambered guitars and traditional Les Paul models, the Les Paul Supreme has no rear access panels or F-holes. Access to the electronics for service is through the oversize output jack plate and the pickup cavities.
